Founded in 1997, the Canongate Quartet have spent over a decade providing the perfect musical backdrop to all aspects of a typical day of wedding celebrations, and are equally at home in the concert hall, at corporate events and at more intimate private functions. Their pool of players draws from members of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Scottish Ballet, the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and other leading groups, ensuring a consistently high standard of performance.

With an ever-expanding repertoire that covers over four centuries of music - from traditional and classical music, to more contemporary jazz and popular songs - their programme can be customised to suit any requirements. Their own unique string arrangements can be commissioned, adding an extra sense of occasion to the performance.
